Let me be real with you.
I was never brought into this world to be normal, quiet, or play small—and deep down, I bet you weren't either.
I grew up in a foster home—not as a foster child, but as the kid whose parents were foster parents. Our house was full of energy, chaos, and connection. For 17 years, I was part of a blended, multicultural, beautifully complicated family. We weren't picture-perfect, but we were real. And real has power.
I'll be honest: I was that kid with attitude, jealousy, and a fire I didn't know how to use yet. But that fire turned into purpose. I saw firsthand what it looks like when people are discarded by the system. I watched my foster siblings get told they'd never amount to anything. I saw the pain. And I also saw what happened when someone—anyone—believed in them.
My dad taught me that who you are doesn't depend on your past, your skin, your status, or your scars. He believed every person mattered. In a world that saw us as a mess of colors, we saw ourselves as a prism—one strong, unbreakable light.
That belief shaped everything that came next.
I Built a Career I Loved.
In 2001, I became my grandfather's caregiver. For four years, I learned what it meant to show up for someone you love—even when it's hard, even when you're exhausted, even when no one sees the weight you're carrying.
After he passed in 2005, I channeled that experience into a career helping other families navigate the same journey. I earned a Master's degree in Healthcare Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, and Project Management. I became a Senior Living Marketing and Admissions Director.
I was passionate about helping families through one of the hardest transitions of their lives—finding care for someone they love. I built networks of support for senior families. I networked with incredible people. I had a title, a salary, respect. I felt accomplished. I was good at what I did.
But the long hours, the stress, the weight of responsibility—it was relentless. I was missing my child's life. And no matter how much I gave, it never felt like enough.
So I made the choice millions of women make: I left my career to be present for my family.
And Then I Disappeared.
Overnight, I went from "Director" to "just a mom."
My grandmother needed care, so I became her caregiver too. I was juggling motherhood, caregiving, and the crushing realization that I had lost myself completely.
I missed my identity. My network. My friends. The version of me that had a title, a purpose, a place in the world.
I felt invisible. Forgotten. Worthless.
So I did what so many women do: I started taking on side jobs—anything to prove I still mattered, anything to feel like I was more than "just" a mom and caregiver.
But here's the truth: I was burnt out, resentful, and ashamed of feeling that way.
Sound familiar?
Then I Found My Way Back.
I started working with women through health and fitness as a Beachbody coach. And something shifted.
I realized I could help myself out of my funk by helping others.
I went back to school—again. I became a Certified Travel Counselor, a Wellness Travel Specialist, a Health & Wellness Coach. I studied spiritual life coaching, hypnotherapy, intuitive energy healing. I earned certifications in everything from senior care to wellness retreats.
Not because I needed more credentials.
Because I needed to remember who I was beyond the roles I was playing.
And here's what I learned: You can't pour from an empty cup. But more importantly—you're allowed to refill it.
That's Why I Created Journey 2

Transformation.
Because I know what it's like to love your job and lose yourself in it at the same time.
I know what it's like to choose between your career and your family—and feel guilty either way.
I know what it's like to go from respected professional to invisible caregiver overnight.
I know what it's like to miss the woman you were before the roles took over.
And I know what it takes to reclaim your life—not just for a week, but for good.
This Isn't a Vacation. It's a Life Restructure.
My retreats are designed specifically for healthcare professionals and caregivers—the women who've spent their lives caring for everyone else and forgotten to care for themselves.
You won't just leave Tulum feeling relaxed and inspired. You'll leave with:
✅ A personalized plan to let go of what's draining you—or manage it sustainably✅ The courage to set boundaries without guilt✅ Tools to prioritize yourself when you get back to real life✅ A community of women who get it—and will hold you accountable
Because I've walked this path. I know the weight you're carrying. And I know how to help you put it down.
I Still Fight for the Underdog.
That fire I had as a kid? It never went out. I just learned how to use it.
Now I fight for the women who've been told—by the system, by their families, by themselves—that their needs don't matter. That rest is selfish. That they should just keep going.
The professional who left her career and lost her identity.
The caregiver who's drowning in responsibility and guilt.
The woman who's forgotten she's allowed to want more.
I'm here to tell you: You matter.
You are not your damage. You are not your mistakes. You're not here to stay stuck in shame, silence, or survival mode.
You're here to rise. To rewrite. To transform.
So If You're at a Crossroads...
If you're carrying more than most people know...
If you miss the woman you were before the roles took over...
If you're ready to finally put yourself first—without guilt, without apology...
You're in the right place.
Because I'll never stop fighting for the underdog.
And I believe in you—even if no one ever has.
