Welcome to Journey to Transformation (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website or participating in any programs, retreats, coaching sessions, events, or services offered by Journey to Transformation, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or participate in our offerings.

1. Use of Website

This website and its content are for informational and educational purposes only. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or use the content for unlawful purposes.

All content—including text, graphics, images, branding, digital products, and downloads—is the intellectual property of Journey to Transformation and may not be copied, distributed, or reproduced without written permission.

2. Coaching, Retreats & Services Disclaimer

Journey to Transformation provides coaching, retreats, workshops, and transformational experiences designed to support personal growth, reflection, and self-development.

We do not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice. Participation is voluntary, and you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being before, during, and after participation.

Always consult a licensed professional for medical or mental health concerns.

3. Payments, Deposits & Refund Policy

All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• Full payment is required according to the payment schedule outlined at booking.

• Payments made within 30 days of a retreat or event are non-refundable, regardless of circumstance.

• No transfers or substitutions are permitted unless explicitly stated in writing.

• Travel insurance is required for retreats and is the participant’s responsibility.

By submitting payment, you agree to these terms.

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability Release

By participating in any Journey to Transformation experience (including but not limited to retreats, excursions, yoga, meditation, movement, adventure activities, ceremonies, or group experiences), you understand and voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to:

• Physical activity and movement

• Emotional or psychological responses

• Travel-related risks

• Environmental conditions

• Adventure or off-site activities

You agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Journey to Transformation, its owners, facilitators, contractors, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence.

Participation is at your own risk.

5. Health & Personal Responsibility

You confirm that you are physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating. You agree to disclose any relevant medical or mental health conditions prior to participation and take full responsibility for managing your own needs.

6. Photo & Video Release

By participating in any Journey to Transformation event, retreat, or experience, you grant permission for Journey to Transformation to photograph, record, and capture your image, likeness, voice, and participation in audio, video, and photographic formats.

You agree that these materials may be used for:

• Marketing and promotional purposes

• Social media

• Website content

• Educational or training materials

You waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product and acknowledge that you will not receive compensation for use of these materials.

If you wish to opt out, you must submit a written request prior to the event.

7. Code of Conduct

We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

We reserve the right to remove any participant who:

• Disrupts the experience

• Engages in harmful or disrespectful behavior

• Violates boundaries or safety guidelines

Removal for conduct violations does not entitle the participant to a refund.

8. Travel & Third-Party Services

Journey to Transformation is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or services of third-party providers such as hotels, transportation services, excursion operators, or venues. Any issues with third-party providers must be addressed directly with them.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Journey to Transformation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or participation in our services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

13. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)

Journey to Transformation shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond reasonable control (“Force Majeure Events”).

Force Majeure Events include, but are not limited to:

• Acts of God (including hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires, or severe weather)

• Pandemics, epidemics, public health emergencies

• Government orders, travel restrictions, border closures, or changes in law

• War, terrorism, civil unrest, or political instability

• Labor strikes, transportation interruptions, or supply chain disruptions

• Power outages, technology failures, or communication disruptions

• Natural disasters or environmental conditions impacting travel or safety

• Any other circumstances beyond reasonable control that make performance impracticable or unsafe

In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Journey to Transformation reserves the right to:

• Modify the retreat schedule, location, or format

• Substitute experiences of equal or similar value

• Postpone the event to a later date

• Cancel the event if continuation is not feasible or safe

If a retreat or event is postponed or modified due to a Force Majeure Event, participant payments may be applied to the rescheduled experience at the discretion of Journey to Transformation.

If an event is canceled due to a Force Majeure Event, refunds will be issued only to the extent that funds are recoverable from third-party vendors. Journey to Transformation is not responsible for unrecoverable costs, including but not limited to deposits, accommodations, excursions, or services already paid on behalf of participants.

Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against losses related to Force Majeure Events.
